ABOUT ME

Pianist/Multi-Instrumentalist

I fell in love with the piano at a young age, leading to classical lessons and later jazz studies at the Utrecht Conservatory with Jasper van ’t Hof & Bert van den Brink, graduating ‘cum laude’ for both my Bachelor’s, and for my Master’s. I also studied under John Taylor at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne. After graduating, I performed at venues like Bellevue and Paradiso in Amsterdam, alongside national TV appearances, collaborating with various bands, artists, and singers. As a multi-instrumentalist, I perform live and work in the studio, playing piano, organ, synthesizers, percussion, drums, and (bass) guitar.

Composer

At 17, I began composing, later studying with Henk Alkema. I’ve since written music for various ensembles and films, blending classical, jazz, world, and pop-rock styles. I’m passionate about fusing diverse musical cultures and compose with huge enthusiasm for all genres.

Sound Engineer

With training in audio engineering from the conservatory, I specialize in recording, mixing, and mastering, particularly in classical, world, and jazz music. My work balances my musician’s ear and engineering expertise to create transparent, dynamic, and natural sound. My approach is organic, ensuring every instrument has its place, and my mastering focuses on achieving balance and spatial clarity. My aim is to make recordings that let the listener enjoy and experience the music to the fullest as if they’re sitting in the same room as the musicians and feeling all the vibes.

  • Normally, I can trust my ears to work out whether someone has used live playing or sample banks, but your stuff sounds so real and live, and gets produced in such a short space of time that it can’t possibly be all live. Your music speaks to me on a level that no other music on this site has done yet!
